ROUND TABLE DISCUSSIONS

AFrAA Internatioal Africa Arts Conference 202 Uganda will have interactive round-tables for all participants of the conference. In this face to face dielog we expect to have the best time of the occasion to share opinion and knowledge about different topics in arts and culture, that we all, one way or another, get to face. Each round table will be facilitated by a moderator, allowing the participants to engage, share their experiences and be inspired by the learning’s and challenges of other.
The round-tables will give everyone a chance to meet new people and interact with the attendees at each of the tables to address new topics. Participants are encouraged to select their table according to their interest.

Round Table Topics

Topic 1: Building the future of Arts in the world

  • How to develop a culture of Arts discipline in which all in the school are focused on arts subjects?
  • The role of the principal in school culture
  • Supporting teachers of Arts discipline in Africa and the world at large

Topic 2: The Future of African Culture

  • What can be done to secure African Culture ?
  • Promoting of African culture to the world tourist
  • The future of Culture in the changing digital world
  • Global learning on culture
  • The role of African Union towards African culture

Topic 3: Arts and Economy

  • How can Arts utlise online (e-comerce) in this digital world
  • The future of Arts economy in post covid-19
  • Networking

Round Table Agenda

  • Welcome and the introduction by the moderator (5min)
  • Briefly introducing participants in the table (10min)
  • Identifying areas of common interest in the topic while brainstorming. (15min)
  • Each member shares ideas and suggestions or experiences that relate to the topic 1, 2 and 3. (60 min)
  • Presents the discussion points and the outcome of each round table by the moderator to all audience in the Hall. (20min)

STORYTELLING SESSION

The power of storytelling will equip participants with practical tools to dramatically enhance their personal impact. Participants will learn the history OF those who have successed in the Arts Sector,. The practical part of storytelling will explore the best structure for story, storytelling techniques, and the characteristics and use of different types of stories. These activities will teach them how to improve active listening skills, communication skills and presence. TOURING THE PEARL OF AFRICA

"Uganda the pearl of africa"

Uganda is truly the pearl of Africa because of the abundant biodiversity, color, profusion, brilliant life and its serene beauty, the country has got a variety of things to offer intat everyting you might need in the travel world is mist likely to be in Uganda

Uganda boasts with some of Africa's stunning landscapes, crystal clear lakes, snow capped mountains, tropical rain forests, semi hared savanna, primates, birds and much more. The unique environmental attributes and the moderate climate due to the country location on the equator. words are not enough to describe Uganda but you need to see the country for yourself.

After the tentative three days of conference, international delegates will get the opportunity to tour some of the amazing tourist sites found in Uganda that any one from outside Uganda should not miss to give a visit. Different places will be toured forexample, Uganda Herritage centre, Buganda Kingdom Headquators, Buganda Kabaka's palce, Uganda Wild Life Education Center
